Mark those calendars and plan to attend. We will be back at the Riverside Casino for another fun float fly this June. Please read on for the details. 

 Come join us for a great day of flying off the water at the Riverside Casino Lake located in Riverside , Iowa. It’s a private lake with a large body of water and is a great place to fly. This is a club event but, non-club members are welcome to fly.  Non-members must RSVP prior to the event date and pay a $15 landing fee to help cover expenses. Anyone wanting to fly must also possess a current AMA membership card. 

  Everyone is on their own for the noon meal. Either bring your own lunch or visit one of the fast-food establishments very close to the lake. Once the flying is done for the day, around (4:30 p.m.) we STRONGLY ENCOURAGE pilots, spouses and friends to go across the street and partake in the fabulous Roberts Buffet located in the Riverside Casino. Eating at the casino is one form of payment we make to the casino for the privilege of using their private lake.   

 Visiting flyers, please make sure you RSVP if you are planning to attend. The gate will open around 8 a.m. We will have a retrieval boat available at 9a.m. We hope to see everyone at the lake! This event is sanctioned through the Academy of Model Aeronautics and a NOTAM will be filed with the FAA so, no remote ID will be required to fly at this location. We hope to see you at the lake!
